Aspects covered included pre-tournament warm up techniques, golf swing video analysis & corrections, bunker play, short game, mental golf, course management and several putting drills. R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points : Albatross is glad to announce that all eligible participants in its recenty held Albatross International Junior Golf Championship, 22-25th November 2011, Classic Golf Course, NCR New Delhi have been awarded WAGR points by the R&A. This event was co-sanctioned by the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT), IJGA, USA. 
QUALIFIERS 2012
Albatross will host zonal qualifiers in Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai & Chandigarh as well as one National Qualifier in New Delhi in 2012 for selection of qualifiers to participate in the IJGT Asian Tournament of Champions (ATOC) & the Tournament of Champions (TOC), USA. The 2nd Albatross Annual Awards Ceremony was held on the 14th of May 2011 at the India International Center. Players on the All India Albatross Order of Merit List 2010 were awarded prizes & certificates. Click here to view awardees.
Albatross, India has held 39 junior golf tournaments (including three Junior International Championships) in India and over 1600 junior golfers have competed in it's tournaments. It is the premier junior golf tour in India, having held tournaments in New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Jaipur & Pune and is committed to supporting junior golf in India by organizing regular competitive tournaments, mental coaching, physical training and providing international exposure to junior golfers. Albatross players have excelled at both the international as well as the national level of golf. Many of it's players are now well known in the international circuit. Junior Golf in India is now very vibrant, competitive and challenging..!! Albatross India junior golf tournaments have been covered by NDTV, ESPN, Doordarshan, Zee Sports, News X, MH One, Golf Digest, Golf Plus, Golf & Spa, Voice of India, Economic Times, Times of India, Hindustan, Jan Satta, Dainik Jagran & Veer Arjun. In its international initiatives, Albatross India has facilitated the entry of junior golf players to The Seventh International True Vision Junior Golf Tournament at Pattana Golf Club & Resort at Thailand, The Jakarta World Junior Championship, Indonesia and the Mercedes Trophy Junior Masters Final, Thailand. Since its inaugural tournament in August 2007, regular tournaments have been held every two months. Over 1600 junior golfers in different age categories have participated in these tournaments. Jyoti Randhawa, Arjun Atwal, Saurav Ganguly, Kapil Dev, Himmat Singh, Gaurav Ghei & Digvijay Singh have been chief guests during the earlier held Albatross tournaments.
